The owners
Before returning to their home port, Aude and Guillaume traveled a lot, in a backpacker mode ... It's their great passion: meetings, sharing, discovery ... that they savor today in another way : Welcoming visitors and tourists, as friends.
Each of the three rooms is a beautiful invitation to travel!
She comes from the Hotel Industry, he is a Landscaper and they have in common a deep respect for Nature:
"It's a way of life that echoes our convictions, we want to show that it is possible to combine great comfort, cocooning spirit and respect for nature! Enlarged and completely renovated, the house and the garden have been redesigned in this spirit.
The three rooms each have their own universe, memories of our travels. They are harmonious and soft, the promise of peaceful sleep. Each has its own bathroom, walk-in shower for the Champlain and Magellan, bathtub for the Cook family room! A locally produced organic "body and hair" soap is available.
Accessible from the bedrooms, the large garden is organized around a pond adorned with papyrus, water lilies and other aquatic plants; a little further on, the hammocks in the shade of the plum trees reinforce this impression of serenity.
Tranquility and relaxation are the key words here!
In fine weather, near the pool or further in the garden, the three terraces are cocoons of privacy, where it is pleasant to rest, to take the time for a chat, a lovely breakfast like we like to prepare them.
It is the same in the large common room: the installation of three nicely set tables, one per room, is a natural incentive to chat while keeping everyone's privacy.
We wanted to keep the soul of this house, its reassuring and natural side, its easy and welcoming approach, we gave it a resolutely modern touch without taking anything away from its authenticity specific to this very special district of La Rochelle. Long inhabited by fishermen and railway workers, the district of Tasdon cultivates its popular character: small winding streets lined with small low houses that hide large gardens.
Our vegetable garden worked in permaculture remains faithful to this spirit.
In short, we cultivate our little piece of paradise! "
To each, Aude reserves a personalized welcome. True ambassador of her city, she knows how to listen to you to live a quality experience by providing you with relevant advice, informed and adapted to the desires of each one: a good address of a restaurant, an activity for the children, a bike ride, night bar, etc. Very attached to her territory, she strives to highlight the local producers with whom she has chosen to work. In attentive and yet fine-mouthed host, she makes tasty breakfasts from organic and local products and homemade jams, a nod to her grandmother who lived in this house!

In Terre en Vue, the entrance to the rooms is separated from the main house. From the ground up, the entrance is accessible to the people with reduced mobility.
